Hair micropigmentation or tricopigmentation is a non-surgical and semi-permanent technique that simulates the appearance of hair on the scalp. The effect is achieved by introducing pigments into the skin in different shades and with different angles of penetration, to achieve the most realistic result possible.
Hair micropigmentation is used to hide scars, to give the sensation of greater hair density and to create the appearance of a shaved head in the case of total alopecia and scarring. It is also used to restore other areas: tricopigmentation of eyebrows and beard is quite common and achieves very good results, especially if combined with a hair transplant.
